Apartments are in decent shape- landlord doesnt care about anything
Former Tenant
Pros:
The units are nice, neighbors are friendly, close to all major trains the roaming supers they use are actually all very nice , the new company did refresh the doors and updated with electronic locks which is a cool feature to have
Cons:
Ever since the new company took over we no longer have a live in super, there is graffiti all over, maintence issues are not adresseed as quickly or even ignored constant pest issues even in the hallways the roaming supers seem to not have enough time to address building issues its timed work when you need something, the office ignores residents everytime you do get a response its from someone new its a rotating mess
Advice to owner:
Improve your customer service dont take advatnage of people we are all busy but its obvious where things are lacking at the building

have really loved loving here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
very clean and well maintained. never really any bugs or problems within our apartment.
Cons:
there’s no control over the heat so it’s very hot year round even with AC on and in winter months. price too for no dishwasher or laundry
Advice to owner:
lower the heat!

Nice location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to subway, safe area
Cons:
Laundry is far, heat is way too hot - felt like a sauna in my room, next building is so close - when your neighbors throw a party it’s like they’re in your room/apartment, landlord raises the rent by 60% every year or something
Advice to owner:
Turn down the heat during winter!!

Small hot noisy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location that’s it lol
Cons:
Someone’s dog pooped in the hallway and it took days to pick it up. Someone else puked in the hallway on the top floor and it took hours for anyone to do anything and it stunk up the entire building. I’ve seen roaches. Hot water takes 10 minutes to get up the pipes. It’s like living in hell in the Winter, the heat is always at max. Apartment is in the 80-90 degree range unless it’s under 10 degrees out. Walls and floors are thin can hear everything, especially the loud intercourse neighbors are somehow always having. Always smells like weed. Everyone in the building is in their 20s and loud/partying all the time. Not even the worst part, the street below is one of the busiest I’ve seen and the light is not synchronized at all. Honking starts at 7am and doesn’t end until 6pm. Can still hear on the top floors and will ruin your meetings.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive and don’t ask for ridiculous amounts in rent because there’s no way you can justify the price with this many problems and this little amenities
Over 2 years ago
don’t do it
Former Tenant
Pros:

Cons:
HUBB nyc (landlord)
