Could be worse
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location. Price is slightly under market. Loft storage space.
Cons:
Entrance was moved to 10th Ave - delivery ppl are CONSTANTLY confused. Generally dirty common area. Floors all sloped at an impressive angle. Package thief management refuses to address. Heat is ALL OVER THE PLACE. If it's a chilly day that you (legally) should have heat - bust out your sweaters and don't count on hot water for the dishes. If it's a very warm day after a series of cold days - count on that heat blasting.
Advice to owner:
Be more attentive. The little things add up.

Management does not respond, hot water and heat issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
big living room
Cons:
No hot water days/weeks at a time, about twice a month.
Don’t turn on/off heat as they’re suppose to based on tenperature for days.
Management does not respond. when they do, they’re assholes.

Apartment is nice, but has a few flaws
Former Tenant
Pros:
high ceiling, storage unit, fire escape, large living room, large windows
Cons:
smells like burger grease in york apartment from the restaurant below, doorway is so small that furniture might not fit, floors are so uneven that it effects furniture (very obviously tilted, sliding, etc), not great water pressure and it takes around 5 minutes for the shower water temp to adjust to changes (so you have to wait with running water for so long), and not many outlets
Advice to owner:
do something about the burger grease smell and water pressure and temperature

Loud, Loud Loud
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenient location, next to the bus and a short walk to the C/E train. Convenience and a great price for Chelsea
Cons:
Mice everywhere!!! as this building is right above 3 restaurants, garbage control is awful and I often find mice in the hallways

Don’t live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Tall ceilings. Lots of light.
Cons:
Mice. Would sometimes take >30 minutes for the shower water to heat up. Smell of burgers (presumably from burger restaurant on ground floor) would sometimes waft into the apartment.

Living here for 2 years
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the location and how spacious the apartments are! Very safe and Junior, the super, is super nice and responds fast! Helped fix/deal with whatever problems I have immediately
Cons:
Incredibly loud! Tenth Avenue is very, very loud. There’s no laundry in the building, so you’ll have to take it somewhere. I found two mice after a year and a half of living there, so that’s something. Garbage is outside the building, just frustrating to carry.
