Poorly maintained
Former Tenant
Pros:
Temperature was well regulated and the appliances/fixtures worked
Cons:
Super noisy heating system. Basically impossible to sleep through the night for half the year The landlord/super didn't do anything about roaches or mice when we reported them
Advice to owner:
Fix the heater noises, and get regular exterminator treatments

Could be much better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Free laundry machines
Cons:
Mice infestation garbage cans that don’t close properly the water drain holes don’t have a cover it’s an open hole on the ground all this is located in the courtyard between the two buildings rats everywhere I live on ground floor with mice in my apartment
Advice to owner:
Get proper dumpster like container for garbage with heavy lids that stay closed and cover up the drain holes on the ground

Great central Chelsea location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Extremely awesome location on a picturesque and friendly street. Washer and dryer free
Cons:
Old building: get ready for pest issues if construction is nearby. The new landlord, Clara, and property manager, Sangmun, are bad. No covid 19 rent reductions, lied about other construction in the building, ruined doormat with their incomplete hallway paint, did not fix issues, and then had the audacity to take a haircut on the security deposit for those same issues and cleaning. Poor communication in terms of timeliness.
Advice to owner:
Being considerate of your renters space and time would prevent turnover of good tenants and save you the money that seems so precious to you in the long run
