Awful. Avoid

Pros:
Nice appartments Nice neighbood
Cons:
Awful property management company Buchbinder & Warren. If you have any issue at all, you can seat on it for weeks and months. As an ex. Lift broke almost every month and stayed broken from weeks.
If you wanted to change flat within the building, Buchbinder & Warren was charging you full (1.5 to 3 months) broker fees. They can’t charge this anymore but it gives you an idea on how they treat their tenant.
There are mouses and there is no vermin/pest controls in the building nor flats.
When I moved in, the woman managing the building promised that the building main entry/hallway would be totally re-done with nice paintings and lighting. This was never done over the past 7 years.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants with respect.
I would check how your representative is handling her buildings and new tenants: she is very disrespectful and I would even say a bullie. I would also check her personal involvement; She installed her son in a rent stabilized flat in the building which was totally newly re-done in 161 w 16th st, but then was AWOL for major issues like not a single working electric sockets in the flat or broken dishwasher for months for other tenants. She had to authorized the Super to do the repair work and took her time...
