1 year rental
Former Tenant
Pros:
Affordable, quiet, and washer and dryer in unit.
Cons:
Pigeon problem, landlord unresponsive, and stolen packages.
Advice to owner:
Please be responsive! I had a serious bird issue outside my apartment and was not taken seriously which caused a lack of sleep.

Worst renting experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location was nice. Near the park, river, and museums.
Cons:
Management extremely unresponsive. Was locked out of my unit 3 times from faulty electric locks. Garbage area was disgusting. Had to threaten legal action to get deposit back.
Advice to owner:
Be better.

management does not answer
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors are fine
Cons:
Management does not answer no matter how many times you contact them about the many different issues there are. Garbage never gets taken out. No in house super as they claim. Front door buzzer has been broken for months. Packages have been stolen and they refuse to look at the security cameras.
Advice to owner:

Nice building but horrible to live at. Packages get stolen. Roach problem.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very nicely renovated.
Cons:
They don’t clean the building. Landlord never responds. Service requests take weeks to fix. Packages get stolen. There’s a roach, ants and pest problem in the building. The cameras for security aren’t real. The butterflymx doesn’t work so you have to manually open door for delivery or friends.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your tenants. Clean your building. Have regular pest control. Fix your butterflymx system. Take out the trash more regularly. Lock your back door to the trash area so that packages don’t get stolen.

MIA Landlord & Never-ending Issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Up to date appliances. Somewhat newly renovated apartments. Great location. Co-tenants are generally respectful.
Cons:
Nonstop issues since before move in. Took months to get a physical key to the apartment with constant issues with the electronic door entry to both the building and individual apartments. Garbage overflows from the dumpster weekly, causing the common area to be riddled with vermin. The heat was significantly reduced this past winter; there were days without heat during snowstorms and zero apology or compensation from the landlord. The Stone Street properties phone number is disconnected and it’s impossible to get in touch with the company.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your tenants. Hire employees to take out the trash regularly. Turn the heat on during the winter, and keep it on. Show some repect to your paying tenants.
