Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

The building at 155 East 31 Street is praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and responsive maintenance, creating a hotel-like living experience. Residents value the friendly doormen, helpful package room, and overall safety. It attracts a young, post-grad crowd, which fosters a lively atmosphere but can result in noise and a party-like environment. Management is generally responsive to maintenance but is criticized for strict policies, occasional uncooperativeness, and high fees, especially for amenities and lease renewals. While rent increases and strict move-in/out rules frustrate some tenants, the building remains a well-located, well-managed luxury option for young professionals.

Any issues with package theft here?

It’s a very large, doorman building with a secure package room. You have to go within certain hours to get your packages and they are checked in and out by staff!

Not at all and I lived there for 8 years. However, I have not lived there in 2 years.
