don’t consider it
Former Tenant
Pros:
the water pressure is great but it does take some time to get warm since it’s an electric water heater
Cons:
they did not clean the apartment prior to move-in. It was completely trashed, the refrigerator had a syringe and there were open holes throughout the apartment that were not patched up. there was a huge mouse problem. the heat was not adjustable and controlled by the super and was too hot. we would keep the window open during the dead of winter.

Decent building terrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
My unit is fully updated with washer dryer and dishwasher, pretty good deal. The street is pretty quiet which is nice.
Cons:
Packages get stolen sometimes. Management is awful and unresponsive.

Would be decent building if management wasn’t terrible
Former Tenant
Pros:
appliances; Location; cute fire escape and a standing shower which is nice.
Cons:
everything else. I got the apartment because of the nice kitchen and then proceeded to not have a working kitchen for 4 months. There is a hole in my ceiling that has been present for 4 months and mold in my ceiling present for god knows how long.
Advice to owner:
Do your job and fix issues quickly.

2-year tenant
Former Tenant
Pros:
Actual 3 bed/2 bath with bed appliances. Thick walls so you can’t hear your roommates. Gave us 2 months free on our rent to renew. Good water pressure (on the second floor)
Cons:
Condition of the building entryway has deteriorated significantly - shattered glass door, mailboxes falling out of the wall, giant holes in the walls (more on that later!) in the last two years. Gas leak caused them to shut off gas to the building for >4 weeks- too bad if you wanted to use your stove. Vents leak water from clogged sinks above. Pests- had mice in the apartment, which happened to coincide with the giant holes in the entryway...
Revolving door of supers, no one answers calls or emails, impossible to get maintenance requests resolved.
Advice to owner:
A more responsive staff would work wonders - lack of communication compounds issues and frustrations.

No gas nightmare
Former Tenant
Pros:
Thick walls, laundry in unit
Cons:
No gas for six months, management unresponsive, trash all over sidewalk, facade collapsing
