THEY NEED TO FIX THE ROACH PROBLEM
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is decently run, maintenance are amazing and the stuff IN-HOUSE are great.
Cons:
However, there is serious roach infestation that they can’t seem to get under control. Idk what they need to do, but whatever it is, they need to do it. An exterminator does come, but it has not stopped the roaches. It is disgusting at this point.
Advice to owner:
GET RID OF THE ROACHES! Particularly on the 19th FL.

Nice place to live, but overpriced and poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
* Clean, new residences * Decent amenities (rooftop, pool, gym, sauna, common areas, occasional events) * Good location * Relatively quiet * Good AC * In-unit washer/dryer * Quick and high-quality repairs
Cons:
* Management is sometimes unresponsive and unfriendly * Prices are often above market level, especially for renewals * Amenities are sometimes poorly managed (e.g., rooftop might be closed during scheduled open hours because the lifeguard isn't there)

Good luxury building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is as advertised: clean, well maintained, with great amenities (though not usable during the pandemic) Doormen, porters, maintenance staff are fantastic. Never had a problem with bugs/rodents. Even the basement is clean.
Cons:
Management: it can be difficult to reach someone who can help you and oftentimes they act like they don’t want to help you. Lock out: it costs them nothing for the doorman to lend you the spare key but they’ll charge you $50 for it. Laundry machines in unit: very fickle, can take a long time to get them to start and they aren’t very powerful. This is a problem my neighbors echoed. Roof is great but very limited lighting so not ideal for night time use.
Advice to owner:
Renters are paying a lot to live in these apartments and deserve to be able to easily reach staff who can help them address billing or property issues - many of the management staff could use a lesson in customer service (or perhaps the problem is with those at the top pushing profits over renter satisfaction)

Management Co
is really bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
clean, quiet and newer.
Cons:
Rose Associates sucks. Plays games and rips off tenants. Tried to charge me for building issues.
Fight them!
Coffee Machine is always down.
Kid are dropped off by the dozens to swim in the pool. Pool Party anyone?
Advice to owner:
You hired a very shady management company.
You have no idea how bad they are managing the property.
