Poorly Maintained and Managed
Former Tenant
Pros:
The top floor has a skylight, the garbage comes on time, the apartment is well laid out. Despite the floors being on a 4 degree tilt they are hardwood and there is a decent amount of space.
Cons:
The super was incredibly condescending and refused to fix my hot water (it was out for a month) until i had to call management and threaten to sue. The floors are on a huge tilt and you can hear every word your neighbor says. They didn’t clean or paint the apartment before I moved in even when I asked.
Advice to owner:
Please clean up the apartments prior to move in. There were 15 dead cockroaches on move in day and the whole apartment was incredibly dirty. Also maybe have a chat with the landlord about ignoring requests (it took over a month to fix my hot water). Additionally, the floor boards are breaking due to the slant in the apartment so maybe get a disposable carpet so tenants aren’t super annoyed.
