Overall OK building but very unresponsive super
Former Tenant
Pros:
washer / dryer in unit, on more quiet street in east village
Cons:
balcony faces a courtyard that is overgrown and not taken care of so expect a lot of squirrels / birds when you go to sit outside. super is veryyyy unresponsive usually had to go to management company to get him to answer (one time they changed everyone’s keys without giving us new ones or telling everyone for two days)
Advice to owner:
better management!

Worst property managers ever
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super is responsive, location is amazing
Cons:
Don't expect your property manager to care whether you live or die. It's like pulling teeth to have them make repairs to actually make your apartment livable. They have no problem not fixing things like heat, hot water, mold, water damage, flood damage or any of the appliances. The super is nice and helpful but the management company will actually go out of their way to not fix anything.
Advice to owner:
You should pick a new career if having a shred of human decency is too much to ask for you. Do your job.

Poor building, poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, nice outside facade
Cons:
Lights and fire alarms started to go out a few months after moving in. Water damage appeared in our unit. Management never came to fix this problems. They took an extremely long time to return our security deposit (months).
Advice to owner:
Take care of the building and the tenants. Stop being cheap

Great super, TERRIBLE property management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, super and porters care and are very helpful. Decent sized bedrooms.
Cons:
Property managers are absolutely incompetent. They have done nothing to remedy flood damage from the hurricane and haven’t done anything to prevent future floods. Took them over a month to fix our unit after it was damaged in the hurricane. They act like we’re overreacting when we complained about the multiple inches of standing water in our apartment. They do not care and are not organized enough to do anything about these massive flooding issues.
Advice to owner:
Take your job seriously! You have uninhabitable apartments due to your negligence! Prevent future flood damage and do something to repair the current damage.
