So many problems

Location and size of unit
Cons:
If there was a problem that you could have in an apartment, we had it.
- Cockroaches
- Mold
- Mice
- Heat not working
- Noisy, disruptive construction
- Property management blatantly ignored issues until pressured. Several weeks went by without the mold being addressed. First they tried to paint over it and say it was fixed. Then they removed the mold and left our apartment unfinished and a construction zone for almost 2 months

Fix the issues in your building and respond to tenants in a timely manner

Pros:
Thoughtful and friendly super who maintains the common areas well.
Great location.
Spacious apartments.
Cons:
The new owners aren’t renewing the lease of some tenants, which makes it difficult to create a home here.

Amazing Building - New Owner Brings Uncertainty

Pros:
The building has older charm and is a lovely community. The courtyard is a beautiful escape that the super keeps clean and lush.
Cons:
The building was recently sold and the new owner is evicting tenants and has plans to start major construction on the building. Upgrades are needed but could result in 2-3 years of major disturbances.

The building super is hard working, responsive, trustworthy and lives on site. Very conscientious!
Cons:
Wonderful place to live. Only drawback is the noise from restaurants and bars adjacent to the back garden. Very loud at night.
Advice to owner:
Keep doing what you’re doing — it’s a great building!
