Overall great living experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in building, fast management response rate, quiet location in Manhattan.
Cons:
Chronic bathtub drainage issues, so we had to call maintenance to fix it often.

great apartment, especially for long-term
Former Tenant
Pros:
very spacious, good value, nice neighbors, and greenery is beautiful, low rent increases given rent stabilization
Cons:
parking sucks if you have a car, maintenance is okay (slow and you have to chase them to get work done at your apartment)
Advice to owner:
fix maintenance and your golden

Stuytown is great
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, well managed, big apartments
Cons:
we had a small pest issue but it was fixed the next day, haven’t seen any since

Great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Stuytown keeps everything pretty clean. They are always out doing little projects on the oval. The building itself is clean
Cons:
The buildings themselves could use some updating. The individual units are slowly being renovated, but the common areas could definitely use some work. The laundry rooms in particular.
Advice to owner:
Don’t treat your tenants like number quotas to be met. People are very loyal to Stuytown and when they have a complaint or issue, it’s usually very valid.

Clean & Friendly
Former Tenant
Pros:
Hallways and common areas are well maintained, neighbors are friendly.
Cons:
A lot of young (NYU students and recent grads) who have loud parties.
Advice to owner:
Focus on long term tenants over students, less tolerance for frequent loud parties
