Great maintenance & facilities, some units need renovation
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management is really responsive and efficient. Community is great and Stuy Town facilities are very well maintained
Utilities taken care of and payment is really easy. Overall, best managed building I’ve seen
Cons:
No real way to fix it, but living room space is really small in flex 3 bedroom apartments, with no lighting
Some units in the building are older and not recently renovated. Ours was renovated recently but some finishes are still older

stuytown
Former Tenant
Pros:
garbage chute on every floor, trash taken out multiple times a day
Cons:
my apartment is next to the stairwell and it is LOUD. neighbors like to invite people over who congregate in the hall and sounds carries

Overpriced for what it's worth
Former Tenant
Pros:
Family focused neighborhood.
What you're really paying for is the location.
Having an enclosed area for children to play and feel safe.
A lot of amenities available for its tenants.
Stores, restaurants, and bars steps away from your apartment.
Relaxing and safe environment.
Cons:
Way too many students. For the amount of money you are paying for these apartments, it is far too common to reside next to loud and disturbing neighbors. I've lived here for over 16 years because of rent stabilization, but it is slowly becoming worse and worse with the intake of a younger crowd.
The buildings are prone to pests. We didn't have a bad experience at all when it came to pests, but if you are unlucky and reside next to a "not so great" neighbor, that can turn around very quickly.
Advice to owner:
Keep up the great work. You guys have always been responsive.

Live here there years
Former Tenant
Pros:

Cons:
Can hear neighbors, cold in winter
Convenient and spacious
Former Tenant
Pros:
Perfect location convenient to everything you need and the apartments are spacious
Cons:
Pricey and no flexibility mid-pandemic
Spacious and great location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Right next to the L, huge bedrooms, reasonable rent for the location, elevator, lots of green space, updated kitchen, pet friendly, laundry in building
Cons:
Construction for the L started right after we moved in and lasted for 2 years. We ended up living out because it was so loud and nowhere near finished.
Advice to owner:
Rent discounts for buildings facing 14th street for construction noise
