Nice location but overpriced
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is great. Right next to the water.
Cons:
Doorman are terrible. Act like they are doing a favor to give you packages. Outside the building always smells like dog piss

Bad management, slow for maintenance
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location and very safe neighborhood
Cons:
Management took weeks to respond to maintenance requests. Was loud due to construction below the building.

It has become home
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the building, love the views, love the size of the kitchens
Cons:
Maintenance is responsive but doesn’t always fix issues.

Great place if you can afford it
Former Tenant
Pros:
No complaints in terms of various living amenities except the rooftop deck - which wasn't as great as advertised
Cons:
Rent increases can be quite unaffordable. I also did not receive my security deposit back as my check was fraudulently cashed and even though I did the required follow-ups, the building management is taking too long to talk to their bank so this can be resolved

Gateway, great building, only con is the dog owners
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, quiet, large apartments, extremely friendly and helpful doormen (especially Ed). No disruptive neighbors. Most apartments have beautiful views of the Hudson River. Maintenance is very responsive and prompt and fixed every issue I’ve had.
Cons:
This is a dog friendly building and there is pee EVERYWHERE. some tenants let their dogs pee in the stairwells and it does not get cleaned up very often. Everyone else lets their dog pee on the sidewalks outside so walking to and from the building is a minefield of pee and poop.
Advice to owner:
Do a better job of managing the dog owners and cleaning the pee from everywhere.

Good place to live if you can afford it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, clean, responsiveness towards fixing issues
Cons:
Very unaffordable rent increases, wasn't a fan of their amenities

Good location. Needs updating
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location and decent floor plans
Cons:
Finishes in the apartments are old and need updating. Neighbors constantly smoking. Sidewalks around the building are always covered in dog poop.
Advice to owner:
Do something about neighbors smoking
