Clean and nicely renovated
Former Tenant
Pros:
Generally pretty clean in the hallways. Responsive super. No pests, and generally no problems with the apartment.
Cons:
Nothing other than issues with packages getting stolen.

I lived here for 12 years and I miss it!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Luis the Super lives on the ground floor. He knows his stuff and can pretty much fix anything. You just have to request your service, but their maintenance was on point for me anyway. Anytime I've ever had issues, they were quick to fix it and not just a temporary bandaid either. They did a really good job. Hallways were always clean.
Cons:
I lived on the 6th floor, so obviously walk-ups suck, but in the summer it gets really, really hot up in the apt and it's really expensive to cool it down, especially with the bad insulation. For our 3bdrm (technically 2), it would cost around $350-$400 in the middle of the summer.

After Covid, package thieves became a huge problem, so we left signs for everyone to not let random strangers in because anyone could just pretend to be Amazon or whatever. I asked specifically who the package was for before letting anyone in and they would get super upset. We constantly hounded the landlord, but there did not seem to be any sort of action taken to even try to fix the problem. I don't know what the situation is now, but even with cameras, it was still a problem. The thieves would tear open the box and take the items and leave the boxes behind. They don't care. We've chased them out many times.

Our apartment was kept spotless for good reason and rarely had any pest issues. If for whatever reason you're a slob, you will run into mice issues. Make sure to be on top of your cleaning.

I was going to renew last minute, but the agent that was working the unit made it seem like I couldn't, and looking back I was well within my rights. I should've sought legal action. My unit was stabilized and now rent has jumped 30-50%. They definitely wanted me out.
Advice to owner:
Thank you for letting me live here for 12 years!
