Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, good area (but loud), elevators

Great location, cute appartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
Really cute, newly renovated studio apartment. The doorman are great.
Cons:
Management is straight up mean and maintenance people are horrible. However, if something truly needs to get done, they do it in a timely manor. They kind of reprimand you for asking for anything though.

Good for a starter apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
The elevator , security and laundry are rare finds for the area at this price point

One of the doorman, Barry, is very hard to deal with. Mice and cockroach problem!
Advice to owner:
Hire a new super who isn’t an ass, get larger garbage shoots so the nice and bugs go away

Babad Management is BAD BAD
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good Location !
Cons:
The building had a mouse infestation for almost a year and did little to fix the situation in the beginning. It wasn't until neighbors were calling 311 and getting the city involved that they took action. Management is greedy and has continued to raise rent by over 30% annually.
Advice to owner:
Take care of your renters, LISTEN and speak to renters with respect. Stop overcharging for outdated apartments just because you can.

Horrible Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building in is a great location and the doormen are great.
Cons:
We lived here for two years and every winter we had mice problem. The management company has extremely limited hours and took a long time to respond. It was a building wide problem, the exterminator told us that it came from garbage in the basement. Whenever we needed repairs they would do the absolute bare minimum after a lot of back and fourth.
Advice to owner:
Better response time

Rude Super & Hasn't Improved Since the 19th Century
Former Tenant
Pros:
I like the full time Doormen, most of them are decently nice. Laundry on every floor is good too. They also have an "atrium" gathering area where you can hang out on the mezzanine that looks very nice, but I never used it.
Cons:
The super is the most unpleasant person on the planet, be warned. He's rude if not outright mean, unwilling to help, takes forever to fix things. The AC also constantly breaks and getting them to fix it usually involves lots of emails and threats. Every summer almost everyone's AC doesn't blow cold air, even though they supposedly do maintenance on it every year right before they turn it on. They don't even turn the AC on until late May so if you prefer a cooler environment tough luck. If you want maintenance done you have to write it in a composition book at the front. No emails or texts and they don't tell you when they're coming, they just do. Very old school management, no technology involved. They leave paper letters and such instead. You can only move out and in on weekdays as well. It's also an old building so the floors are creaky and the doorways are small. My apartment didn't even have a ceiling light in my bedroom so it was pitch dark until I got a lamp. While I was there, there was also a rat infestation.
Advice to owner:
Unless you're in a pinch, I'd look elsewhere. Be prepared it's very old school and the super is unpleasant. The neighbors have been decently friendly though.

Poorly run college doem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location near NYU
Cons:
Horrific management company, no maintenance in the building. The doorman also told me the throw out packages left unclaimed after 2 weeks. One doorman also punched a delivery driver and kept his job. Insane.
