Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent renter feedback for 725 East 9 Street applauds the building's responsive and personable super (Mike), clean and well-maintained environment, and convenient location near parks and transit. Tenants appreciate the quiet, friendly neighbors, dog-friendly policies, and useful amenities like an outdoor backyard and a small gym. However, some concerns include occasional building cleanliness issues, unpleasant garbage odors in the basement during summer, high laundry costs, and inconsistent heating—often excessively warm indoors. Management is generally seen as responsive, though some criticize rent hikes and broker practices. Package theft before mailroom installation and the youthful, party-prone atmosphere may not suit everyone.
