Studio Review 2020-2021
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large Studio, okishly new appliances only 11 tenants in small building nice private garden for buildings
Cons:
slow - understated - response and action by management the super does not live next door but rather works on multiple buildings and is in New Jersey mostly.
took months into lease to fix completely broken W/D - and only fixed because W/D was noted in lease ad - super had let me know the W/D had not been functional for years.
promised and showed video intercom during tour and lease ad, never works, has not and will not be fixed per super
front door buzzer doesn’t work and management will not work to fix, meaning packages will left on street by delivery or you’ll always have to go down and get every package or deal with a non stop door bell ringing
elevator- can be on/off in terms of working
Advice to owner:
Do not mislead in your postings Do not hire scummy brokers to work on your behalf that lie to potential tenants - I know we’re in NYC but I’m positive being transparent with your tenants and working to resolve their problems asap will go a long way
