Goodbye Sanity
Former Tenant
Pros:
There’s a cute vintage green elevator and my unit had laundry. High ceilings.
Cons:
Surprised the staircase never collapsed. Half of the tenants are people that have been there for decades and they DO NOT want you there. Dynamic is STRANGE. My neighbor (who is still there I’m sure) verbally harassed everyone in my unit. We were terrified to even walk to the bathroom at night. It’s an old building in NYC, you can hear footsteps- get over it. He tried to get us to install carpeting and called the cops multiple times- once falsely claiming our unit called for domestic abuse. Management did nothing even after he almost got physical. THEY KEPT OUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BECAUSE MY ROOMMATE HAD ONE LATE PAYMENT. In the lease that’s only $100 fee. I fought to try to get it back but they are so crooked they don’t care. I will never live in a 9300 Realty building again. Croman is one of the worst landlords in the city, stay AWAY.
Advice to owner:
Quit. Quit. Quit. (I wrote it 3X to meet the minimum)
