Awesome spot on the UWS
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent has gone up $100 each year which I don’t think is bad. Landlord is extremely responsive. Safe area close to subway.
Cons:
No washer and dryer in building. Lots of trash outside.

Gorgeous, huge apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
BEAUTIFUL apartment. HUGE living room. High ceilings. Very quiet area/street. Fantastic location, really can’t be beat. Hardly any pests, lived there for two years and only ever saw 2 roaches.
Cons:
The apartment is insanely cold in the winter, like 40°, especially in the morning. And if you complain about it, the landlord gets mad at you. The landlord also made us sign a very restrictive contract because we were students. For example, we weren’t allowed two have more than 8 people inside the apartment at a time. We also weren’t allowed to have overnight guests more than 7 nights a year. However, I don’t know if this was entirely his idea/decision. Landlord can be a bit overbearing, once he let himself into our apartment with no warning because he could hear the water running and thought it had been on for too long. Older appliances, but they did the job.
