Good starter apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is great, right off of Amsterdam Ave and in a vibrant part of the UWS. Also, the landlord is very responsive about maintenance requests, and repairs are usually completed within a few days. The price was also reasonable for the neighborhood, given the current market.
Cons:
No elevator, the stairway is kind of rundown, and the ceiling leaks in the staircase when it rains.

It has potential
Former Tenant
Pros:
They are really diligent about garbage pick up and responding to urgent needs for the apartment.
Cons:
If it’s not an urgent need, management takes forever to respond and get back to you to answer simple questions which is really frustrating.

Who even owns this building?
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location great, safe, pretty quiet, “superintendent” was nice, large space.
Cons:
Difficult to contact management office, no emergency number, frequent issues with lobby door locking, bedbugs. Always rude and unhelpful. Robo-responses and no way to contact a real person for any issue ever.
Advice to owner:
Work with existing tenants to preserve the safety and sanitation of the building. Most units need a lot of TLC. Needs a more efficient office.
