Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for 130 West 97 Street emphasize spacious, well-lit apartments with desirable amenities like in-building laundry and renovated interiors. Tenants commend the cleanliness and courteous building staff, along with quiet surroundings and good neighbors. However, management responsiveness is often described as slow or difficult to reach, and elevator maintenance issues have been a recurring problem. Some residents note the super's demeanor and higher costs as downsides. Garbage management is generally good, and pest control is acceptable though not perfect. While not rent stabilized, the building remains a recommended choice for renters valuing comfort and a well-maintained living environment despite occasional management shortcomings.
