Not Great, Not Terrible
Former Tenant
Pros:
The management is pretty responsive to issues and frequently has services tenants can opt into like exterminators. They also seem to upgrade on their own. They upgraded the payment system in our laundry room and our intercom system.
Cons:
The common areas of the building are pretty dirty and neglected. Packages are left on the floor in the lobby. The elevator breaks down fairly regularly. I’ve lived here 2 years and have heard people stuck in the elevator calling for help 4-5 times. The building’s basement where the laundry room is located is also really gross.
Advice to owner:
Have the common areas and hallways cleaned every once in a while

Would not live here again
Former Tenant
Pros:
Larger apartment for okay price
Cons:
The pest situation is disgusting. Multiple issues with mice and flies and management is terrible in responding. They tell you that the exterminator will come just a singular week on Saturday, but won’t show up. And when pushed further management said we were not there to let him him when we were there all day. And that we have to wait a whole month until the next time the exterminator would come. Refused to send one directly unless you paid for it out of pocket. It’s disgusting to have to live where I feel gross hearing little mice run around and waking up finding one stuck in my sink that I have to get rid of (have done this three times). In the summer flies are everywhere. Had to literally tape the door on the basement room closed because they were all coming through the cracks from the trash room. I’m generally fairly clean and keep my apartment clean, and it is very frustrating to have to deal with this.
Advice to owner:
Be better at actually responding to your residents issues.

Kind of sloppy but gets job done
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very quiet building (but I was facing south and overlooked the courtyard), fellow tenants also pretty quiet & respectful, heat/gas was a flat rate with rent, well-heated in winter
Cons:
Kind of falling apart, lobby not well taken care of, started to have more bugs each summer (I was there for 3+ years), had plumbing issues a few times in my last summer there
