Good place to live for a short time
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is nice, clean, and doormen are phenomenal.
Cons:
Not many people live there full time making it hard to get to know you neighbors. Location isn’t great being on Braodway.

needs to be updated
Former Tenant
Pros:
in the heart of times square
Cons:
in the heart of times square cops always using the lobby to keep warm in winter making u feel u r in a project the garbage rooms are not always clean the lounge area on the 4th floor is outdated the soda machines will take your money without giving you your soda the windows of the apartments are always dirty. they hire a cheap window cleaning company who comes to smear the dirt all over your windows instead of using the proper equipment to clean them
Advice to owner:
time to revamp the building and dust off the 4th floor and hire a better window cleaning company also need to clean up the water pipe cuz tired of waiting 30mins for the water to clear up

Building management and landlord issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Some of the front desk staff is genuinely nice and helpful
Cons:
Some bad front desk staff, amenities are not great, the gym is sparce and dated. Of the two elevators one is usually out of order. The landlord of 12G is not responsive and will withhold your money for no reason

Review of 1600 Broadway
Former Tenant
Pros:
- The building staff is helpful (just make sure to ask them) - Everyone in the building is friendly and it's a good environment - Relatively quiet in the building despite being on Times Square - Ceiling-to-floor windows offer great views
Cons:
- I agree with another review that the curtains aren't enough to block out the lights from outside - Sometimes the air inside the building has that "dead" feeling to it
Advice to owner:
Just keep up good communication with the tenants

Bittersweet
Former Tenant
Pros:
- very spacious apartment - central to pretty much everything - good amenities - nice neighbors
Cons:
- sounds, lights and everything you may not want overnight (you are almost sleeping in Times Square!) - not a lot of useful shops you would normally go to for your routine shopping
