Great Building for Families
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors are friendly and personable. Has two courtyards for building use. Thick thick walls so you’ll almost never hear your neighbors. Pet friendly. Elevator and laundry in building. Extra storage in basement for purchase. Bike racks. Spacious square rooms rather than narrow ones. Great heat and hot water with great water pressure. Eastern side of building is sunny and quiet. Live in, attentive superintendent. Best area north of Colorado and east of the Mississippi to eat hispanic cuisines. Close to three parks. 1 mile to Randall’s island.
Cons:
Western side of building is dark and plagued by major construction next door. Some neighbors don’t respect common areas and leave messes. Building no longer employs a gardener so planters and trees are an eye sore. Neighborhood is a good desert.
Advice to owner:
Hire a gardener. Super is great.
