Great place but far from places
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good finish at the place and lots of flex buildings
Cons:
Location is not great
Decent building if you don’t mind the location
Former Tenant
Pros:
The doormen are great, cleaned often, and washer dryer in unit
Cons:
Hidden fees when applying, management is not the most responsive over email, location (near Times Square)

Dirty apartment with mold and leaks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Looks good from the outside, great views
Cons:
Filthy apartment with mold and leaks. Bathrooms and kitchen were disgusting. Not finished painting. Every single inch is grime. Long wait for elevator.
Advice to owner:
Clean and fix apartment before letting anyone move in

Fake luxury building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Overall newer appliances and amenities, felt cleaner
Cons:
Shower drain constantly backed up and there was something wrong with the sewage/draining system. Building not helpful with fixing after sending people multiple times. Dryer never worked well, left clothes wet.

sketchy management / bait and switch / steal money
Former Tenant
Pros:
good sized units
Cons:
The agent would not show me the unit and eventually told me that my friend and I were "idiots" for wanting to see the unit before signing a lease. I asked for the lease language to change since it said on it that I have viewed the unit I am renting and he took the apartment away from us and kept 1k in "application fees" very poorly managed and unprofessional.
Advice to owner:
I felt very disrespected by the agent.

Great building, just kinda far from the subway
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great amenities, very clean
Cons:
Far from the subway, and we never got a fob

Not in move-in condition
Former Tenant
Pros:
The layout of this apartment is excellent. The floor-to-ceiling windows are lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Cons:
The apartment was not painted before we moved in and it was FILTHY. It took us two days to clean the mold out of the washer/dryer, the filth out of the toilets and sinks and the grit from the walls and floor. We refer to it as a luxury apartment with a slumlord.
Advice to owner:
The lobby is huge and a waste of space when you could really use a satisfactory bike room.

Nice apartment overall, leasing office and experience is dicey
Former Tenant
Pros:
Have lived here for many years. The place is clean and I have never ever seen a bug or rodent. You get some noise from the nightclub in the summer, but don’t hear much from the highway if you are up a bit so overall insulation is better than average. Maintenance guy is ok, while most amenities are fake, the roof is awesome and free breakfast during week days is nice. Folks that work the front desk are very nice. Elevators generally are good. Neighbors are friendly, but sometimes get some 20s financial types that party loud but front desk will shut that down if you call. Above all this, spectacular views.
Cons:
The leasing office is about as rude and clueless as it gets. The less you deal with them the better
Some of the amenities the property management company lists just don’t exist.
The gym is blah, you’re better off paying up the money for the lifetime next door.
Far away from the subway system.
Much of the appliances in the building are starting to break down, and the bathroom ventilation isn’t great and if you don’t studiously clean the shower mold will grow.
Advice to owner:
Replace the entire leasing office and refresh the marketing

Solid Building; Far from Transit
Former Tenant
Pros:
Awesome view, modern apartment and furnishings, decent management and doormen, hold even large packages for you
Cons:
Far from transit, not much going on around the building, package room only open during work hours which can be tough if you work in office (I often couldn’t get my package for days)
Advice to owner:
Extend hours of package center if possible, more consistent shuttles on return from transit to alleviate transit desert; otherwise really nice!

Very rude management, beware
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice doorman and package staff.
Cons:
Management takes very long to reply. Will offer a renewal but forces you to sign it within a day otherwise the rent will go up.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants like people.

Cons:
Flex rooms are very small

Good starter apartment with no issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
First apartment I moved to in NYC. W/D in Unit, located right by the west side highway for citi bikes, no pests or trash on the sidewalk. Safe building and many more benefits such as the roof deck.
Cons:
Location is great as far as being secluded but no nyc charm. It's very cold but clean. Very expensive for being in midtown as well.
Advice to owner:
Fix the tennis court and it would be a hard place to leave

Great building, mostly pros with a few cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Friendly doormen and staff
- Easy trash disposal
- Great views
- Clean lobby
- Easy to contact super for maintenance
Cons:
- 1 elevator (out of the 4 for the building) is frequently broken
- The indoor dog area is cleaned only sporadically
- Very hot in winter and difficult to balance temperature; AC is weak in summertime and fans are necessary
- Hardware on fridge and toilets became loose frequently
- Raised rent by $500 after first year
Advice to owner:
New elevator, better temperature regulation and more frequent cleaning of dog area; rents raised too quickly based on market

The wish.com of luxury building
Former Tenant
Pros:
On the outside, it looks really nice. Its clean and views are nice
Cons:
Elevators are always broken causing 15-20 mins just to get onto one
Responsiveness to get something fixed often takes a few follow ups
They will jack up your rent like crazy
Wifi on roof doesnt work/slow
Gym really sucks for a luxury building. Everything is broken in there and they wont replace it.
Advice to owner:
PLEASE maintain the building better!

atelier- would be 5x the price in any other location
Former Tenant
Pros:
great doormen, beautiful views
Cons:
so far away from restaurants, subways, kinda sketchy neighborhood at night
Over 2 years ago
If you can, stay away!
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's close to good restaurants and apartments are bigger than normal.
Cons:
Elevators, staff, "gym". Building is falling apart.

If you read the reviews on Yelp, the property owner tries to gaslight Yelpers.
Advice to owner:
Fix your building.

Good place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Kitchens are modern and sleek, nice rooftop and amenities.
Cons:
Far from subway and not many good grocery stores
Advice to owner:
Update the rooftop a bit; starting to get outdated

Reasonable accommodation Hells Kitchen
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean and friendly building, responsive to apartment issues, and heat/AC/water work well
Cons:
Lack of accountability and ownership for who owns what issue. The building clearly charged a bit less than surrounding areas in exchange for lax assistance
