Incredible find with a great landlord on a quiet street in EV
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great landlord- approachable and really cares (also lives in penthouse so he actually has a stake in this building having high living standards. Best street in East Village to live on - E10th has two churches so bars aren’t allowed on the street making it a uniquely quiet and clean find. Private outdoor space. Middle aged tenants that aren’t partiers. Not a big problem with pests (though we did encounter the occasional mouse). Definitely not at all a gross EV infested building.
Cons:
Not a ton of space - Our unit only had one closet but we made it work and furnished the apartment well.
The last year of our lease we got a very loud neighbor - so unfortunate and an anomaly in this extremely quiet building.
Advice to owner:
Not much outside of the above. Really really great overall experience living here and truly uniquely great spot in EV.
