For all Renters to be Aware & Beware of.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, Walking distance to mall and Costco.
Cons:
Drug use in bldg. Some aggressive tenants. It is a smoke-free & pet-free building but landlord, turns a blind eye and is not responsive. No super. Upkeep poor. Garbage strewn in the stairwell. AC/Heat wall unit inefficient. Overt discrimination.
Advice to owner:
Enforce the directives of NYC Dept. of Hygiene and Dept. of Chronic Diseases. Smoke-free building means just that, no smoking on the premises. Drug-free as in no use of drugs by tenants. Report to NYC authorities. Pet-free means just that
