Excellent location but bad management

Pros:
- rooftop view
- gym / washer dryer in building
- doorman
- spacious apartments
- location is great
Cons:
- fruit fly infestation for every summer the past 3 years. Other tenants have a similar issue but are worn out by the super’s lack of response that they don’t report it
- did not have a dishwasher for 8 months of our lease. The Super installed a new dishwasher incorrectly (confirmed by technicians who came and fixed it)
- the super installed a new gas stove incorrectly and caused a gas leak for over 1 week while we were on vacation
- old appliances that break constantly and hanging by a thread
- building management doesn’t care and the Super (Lab) never responds to you / takes forever to get something fixed
- outside windows will never be washed
Advice to owner:
Get a new Super immediately

Pros:
Great rooftop view, and never seen a single rodent or roach.
Cons:
The appliances are terrible quality and super is only moderately responsive

Windows are quality and very sound proof despite nearby bridge and highway ramps
Cons:
Management and super ignore maintenance requests. Have gone with no A/c for 3 months on two separate occasions. Would pass on living here for this reason alone

Common areas well maintained and cleaned, super is very responsive. Door men are friendly
Cons:
Management could be slow to respond to lease related questions
