Very decent grad student housing
Former Tenant
Pros:
No pests whatsoever in the two years I lived here. Heat and AC always decently strong. Service requests done promptly (~24 hr response time). Friendly front desk folks. Absolutely gorgeous views especially if you face the bridge and Hudson river. Student Health is just downstairs.
Cons:
Excessive drafts, dust, and highway noise due to poorly insulated, single pane windows--which also meant poor ambient noise in all rooms (I measure between 45-50 dB at night and 55+ dB during the day). Get some noise cancelling headphones or white noise machine if you're bothered by noise (I do). Any wind would cause the windows to bang against the frames. Shower would randomly lose pressure and stay that way for hours on end. Elevators have started breaking down randomly leading to long lines to go up.
Advice to owner:
Redo the windows so it matches the clinic downstairs.

That endowment comes in clutch for housing
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was really well maintained, older but still very clean, nice, and comfortable.
Cons:
The windows could probably be updated at some point in the future, and at the higher floors the wind rattled them quite a bit. Also the screens to open windows are self placed and this is terrifying beyond 10 stories and over a major traffic area.
Advice to owner:
Screens would be nice or something similar but honestly all around great, no doubt the best student housing in the city

Decent student housing
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice doormen, great sized bedrooms, gorgeous views. Sometimes random stuff doesn’t work
Cons:
It snowed in my room through window cracks. Housing is not the most responsive…prob understaffed and underpaid
