Great Apartment But Poor Amenities and Service
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Apartment units have great views and updated appliances -There's few units per floor so there isn't a lot of noise from neighbors -Multiple elevators
Cons:
-The amenities are generally too loud for anyone trying to work from home -Packages have been stolen and management refuses to look into them

Great Building, Friendly Staff
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful clean building, friendly staff, great location and neighborhood. Amenities are awesome- roof or downstairs lounge are a great places to host friends. Maintenance very responsive. Some noise from windows on the avenue but not too bad. Don’t hear neighbours at all unless they are in the hallway right outside front door.
Cons:
Hot water slightly discoloured, gym in building just okay and charged an extra amenity fee. Fire alarms in unit very sensitive - get set off even with steam from roasting vegetables when you open the oven.
Advice to owner:
Make bbq accessible without prior reservation

Great building, great staff (507 West Chelsea)
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Very well located (easy access to the Highline, Hudson Yards, Chelsea) - Staff are very friendly and responsive - Online resident portal is comprehensive and easy to use - No fee to reserve the rooftop grill or the indoor lounge space for parties - They are not strict about limiting the number of guests in common spaces - Very dog-friendly
Cons:
- The super takes forever to make repairs on amenities (e.g., the sink next to the grill has not been functional since we moved in almost a year ago; they took months to get one of the stationary bikes in the gym back online) - There is only one grill for such a large complex it gets a bit competitive in the summertime - There is no bathroom nearby either rooftop - Sometimes the bathrooms near the lounge/gym are not kept up (e.g., run out of soap/toilet paper)
Advice to owner:
Please pick up the pace on making necessary repairs to amenities (e.g., bbq sink, gym equipment)

Nice building with some issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s new, has a pool and well stocked gym. Staff in the lobby are nice but can be sometimes a little nosy. I liked the design of the building and the apartment layouts as they felt spacious enough.
Cons:
Took me more than 2 months to get my deposit back. The staff in rental office was horrible and would not answer emails or calls, putting you on hold for half an hour until you gave up. I didn’t like that all the amenities were in the basement so no natural light. Owner keeps one rooftop all to himself.
Advice to owner:
Return security deposits within 14 days. It’s against the NY law to not do so! I had to call the office 4 times to get the check back and in the end had to come to the office personally to demand it. This is unacceptable.
