Covid-19 flexibility
Former Tenant
Pros:
Wonderful building to live in. Sweet and attentive staff. The building is kept clean and safe at all times.
Cons:
The property management company were not even remotely interested in working with us when it came time for lease renewal during covid-19. They increased our rent and we begged them to reconsider and to keep rent the same because we both lost our jobs and didn’t want to leave because we love the apt. They did not reconsider. Now we are paying $2,500 more a month than what they are currently offering for a vacant apt that is the exact same footprint plus an extra bathroom on a higher floor. When we emailed them the listing they basically told us to bad you already signed. This was after we referred two friends to move into the building.
Advice to owner:
Work with your loyal tenants during a global pandemic. We didn’t ask to pay less only the same amount and you couldn’t even do that for us after getting two other tenants to move in. Shameful.
