Don't Walk, Run!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Aside from the location of the building there is nothing even remotely acceptable about 300 W.
Cons:
There are rats in the cellar and storage cages. The pool has been ready for 1 Year but they haven't had the DOH come out and expect it, so you cannot use it. Nearly all the amenities they promote are not built - Sauna; rooftop is incomplete and people use it as a littering ground; the elevators are constantly broken with residents stuck in the elevator. Your packages will come up missing constantly, they lack cameras in the places that matter the most e.g. elevator, stairwell, etc. The sponsor and developer are horrendous. They will never tell you when work is going on. Non-union construction work illegal hours sometimes at 10pm and for the entire winter I did not have hot water coming from any of my faucets AND the HVAC never works properly leaving my home a chilly 40-50 degrees and in the summer you're in a hot box. Your AC/Heating bill will run you easily $300+ per month. My landlord never cared to look into things despite constant requests and the realtor Jake is a liar and so unpleasant to work with.
Advice to owner:
Do your job as a property owner and take responsibility for your unit. Don't hide behind the ineptitude of the building developer and sponsor. If something is wrong in your unit, fix it!
