Disgusting and irresponsible Mgt..
Pros
It's in a quiet area..and until the last few years it was fairly taken care of by the mgt. It is rent stabilized so it is definitely affordable..as rents are outrageous these days
Cons
We do not have a consistent super so the bldg is always filthy and smelly. We can never get thru to the mgt office. Lately we have constantly have to call HPD/HUD(311).no heat..no hot water..no maintenance..ect. There's an "alley" on the side of the bldg piled up with garbage infested with rats. The front door lock is always broken.. allowing for non tenants to hangout inside smoking marijuana or just lingering there. The mgt has not painted in over 7yrs..the mgt does not make repairs on a timely manner. Inspite of all of these cons..the mgt charges a $75 late fee if your rent is late??!! The mgt has failed to offer and/or renew leases on a timely basis accordingly.
Advice to the owners
Surely the owner is aware that mgt falsely represents that a prior superintendent is the property owner..in legal documents. The owner is suppose to provide a safe and clean living environment to his rent paying tenants..this is not being provided by the owner. We are hard working rent paying tenants who pay to be able to live in a safe and clean reidence residence.. everyone respectd each other...no noise..no fights..but we live in filth while you the owner collect our hard earned money and live a decent life at our expense.
