Horrible management and super extremely lazy
Former Tenant
Pros:
No pros really and the right is too high in a broken down building.
Cons:
Drug dealing and junkies in the building. Building Super doesn’t mop or clean the building (only sweeps barely). Cockroaches in the hallways and must make sure to keep your front door tightly close. A lot of cracks in the apartments. In which , I had to fix them all on my only . Bathroom had bad water pressure at times . The heat is barely on in the fall/winter and the apartments are cold at night ; ( Spoken to other neighbors throughout the building. The management company doesn’t answer any phone calls, any voice messages, and barely any emails. They won’t negotiate on any rent of the sort. They are rats near the garbage compost area and tons of trash stack up poorly by building super Jose.
Advice to owner:
The whole building needs to be change around . Chestnut Holdings needs a better Building super and the rent shouldn’t be that high if there is poor management and building attention. My building floor wasn’t moped in 3 plus months . I’ve mopped half of the 5th floor serval times in the past 3 months . There should be some type of remodeling in each apartment because a lot of people are struggling and there are cracks ands molded in different areas that weren’t caused by the tenant themselves.
