What’s Hidden Behind The Facade?
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doorman building,
Communal Laundry Room,
Same day response for maintenance,
Elevator Access,
Lively Neighborhood,
Access to Transportation
Cons:
Poorly Maintained Cleaning of Carpeted Hallways,
Overflowing Garbage Rooms,
Inadequate Signage and Building Notices,
Delays on Structural Repairs,
Constant Repairs in Laundry Room and Elevators,
Poor Communication Response Time from Management
Advice to owner:
There’s a disservice to some of your long time residents as they witness care reduce in their time in this building. It would be great if maintenance and follow up services were revamped and done in a timely manner.

Best building I ever lived in!
Former Tenant
Pros:
I miss living in this building. It’s the best! 24/7 uniformed doormen who have the best attitudes and greet you warmly. Two renovated, modern elevators. Carpeted hallways on every floor. On-site live-in Super who is so friendly and responsive. And great staff who keep the building in tip-top shape. HUGE laundry room in the basement, too!

It honestly felt like living in a luxury high-rise in Manhattan ... but smack dab in the middle of the South Bronx. The neighborhood, too, is pretty nice and safe as it is very close to the courthouses, Yankee stadium, and major subway lines like the D and 4 trains within a 5 min walk. So convenient!
Cons:
There’s honestly nothing I can point out as a con of living at this place. You don’t find better apartment buildings like this in most neighborhoods in the city that are not condos or co-ops.
Advice to owner:
Keep doing what you’re doing. If I could afford to rent here again, I would move back in a heartbeat! Of if you go co-op, I would buy a unit.
