One more typical SLUMLORD building in the Bronx
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to the supermarket, hospital and public transportation.
Cons:
Building and elevator not too clean. Elevator and intercom are broken all the time. Loitering in front of building constantly...drinking, smoking weed and loud music. There is no handicap ramp to get into the building which is much needed. The stairs to take out the trash in backyard is very dangerous they are metal and gets very slippery when raining or snowing.
Advice to owner:
My advise to the Landlord is to keep a close eye on the management company and the people in charge of maintenance. I was witness of the day landlord came to visit there was extensive cleaning done the day before. After that is back to being dirty. Landlords need to do some random visits. Too much rent is being paid to live like this.
