There was a hole in our ceiling for a year and a half
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment is spacious. I have room for a comfortable home office in a corner of our living room. The walk in closets are a real surprise.
Cons:
The lobby is used as a hangout spot where people smoke cigarettes and party (not an exaggeration) at late hours. There is often dog pee and poop in the staircase and lobby. The super is unreachable when it comes to repairs but is always ready to help us get in if we lock ourselves out of the apartment. It took him a year and 7 months to repair a hole in our ceiling. That reminds me there is a neighbor on the fourth floor who floods her apartment so bad it affects us down in the 2nd floor enough that we had to call the fire department.
Advice to owner:
Get a new property manager. Get a new super.
