Better days are in the past
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near 3 major train lines and metro north
Cons:
Management is unresponsive and the super is absent and in able to complete basic maintenance jobs. The hallways and stairs are often sticky with garbage juice or hid knows what else. Constant infestations of roaches , the lock to the laundry and garbage area re broken and homeless people looking for a place to sleep are in the spaces . The super Airbnb’s vacant apartments before the get rented causing for foot traffic of strangers. The super revs his motorcycle I’m the basement and the fumes seek into the apartments. Ceilings fall in frequently from water damage on the roof
Advice to owner:
Invest in upkeep and a better management team or sell the building

Declining upkeep
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to 3 subway lines , walkable neighborhood, large apartments, high ceilings and original hardwood floors
Cons:
Hallways are rarely cleaned and are filthy /embarrassing. The super manages other buildings and is hard to locate/infrequently onsite . Management company not responsive to request for repairs , repairs are only made after 311 is involved.

There is a culture of intimidation and neglect form the management office.
Advice to owner:
Invest in upkeep of the property before problems begin instead poor patch jobs.
