Frequently Asked Questions
Renter Q&A
Q: Is the building rent-stabilized? how is the landlord trying to drive tenants out? thanks!
A: I don’t know if it’s rent stabilized and they would ignore all: tenant complaints, roach/rodent infestation complaints & hazardous building damage until the tenant decided to just move out for their own health and safety. This happened to at least three tenants of the building that I’m aware of and unfortunately contacting the city didn’t do anything either.

The literal definition of a slumlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
The community of people in the neighborhood
Cons:
Landlords that ignore complaints. The roof of our apartment literally collapsed on us and nothing was done. Leaks in the ceilings. Roach infested. Multiple complaints with no response. The super tried to do all he could to help but told is the landlords were trying to drive us out because they wanted to drive up the rent in our apartments.
