The location is great, one block from the train station, close to lots of stores, supermarkets and pharmacies.
Cons:
The building has a super on site and a crew of handymen M-F available but they takes forever to do the repairs. Basically, you have to call 311 to complain so they do their jobs. A couple of residents smokes weed multiple times on a daily basis on the stairs inside the building but the Management Company and the super doesn’t tell them a word. Those same guys leaves all their garbage of the weed, food and whatever else they have while smoking all over the stairs, they even pee and spit everywhere. The building lacks of maintenance, they pass the broom at a much every other week and the mop, sometimes once a month, so the common areas are extremely dirty and with peeling paint walls. No security cameras other than the first floor (doesn’t work either) and one pointing to the rooftop door (the door alarm doesn’t work). The contract with the Exterminating Company covers only the kitchens and bathrooms of the apartments, living rooms and bedrooms they remains untouched which is completely nonsense.
Advice to owner:
Improve the maintenance of the building, take immediate action about unlawful activities on site, install security cameras throughout. Basically, fix all the faults mentioned on the “Cons” section of the review.
