A literal joke.
Former Tenant
Pros:
There is nothing good about living here.

Perhaps the current superintendent. He really tries his best but the place is too far gone and he can do too little.
Cons:
Everything. No heat in the winter, pests coming from other apartments into ours, management expecting money but letting tenants live with gaping, two foot holes all over the apartment from water damage and subsequent mold, then going so far as to harass US a whole year after reporting the problems and having nothing done about it. The building is going to be on the news for collapsing, mark my words.
Advice to owner:
Give up. Sell the building and/or have it demolished.

Pros:
The building itself, built in 1927, was definitely at one time a beautiful, well built building. It’s in a great location, close to the shopping district and subway
Cons:
Everything else.
It’s February- we have not had heat between the hours of 9 pm and 6 am even ONE night this entire winter. We freeze all night long, and I know many people are probably incorrectly using space heaters to combat the issue which is a huge fire hazard to all of us who live here.
There are major mold and pest problems, water leaks and damage to the building, floors and ceilings that are wooden boards that are 97 years old and falling apart, thus as thin as paper with no insulation…
The whole building is a hazard.
Management does absolutely nothing but quick to stick their palm out for their rent money.
Advice to owner:
Just take care of the building. Give us heat once or twice an evening. Tend to water damage, mold and pests.

Owner and manager never respond to questions. Building is never cleaned
