Poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near the 4 train, stores, hospital, and pharmacy. Laundry in basement. Elevator. Our neighbors are quiet and considerate. No noise issues. People are generally friendly with one another.
Cons:
New owners (2021) are completely unresponsive to issues and do not respond to work orders. They do not even share their contact info. Tenants have to report issues via 311. Heat in the winter is not adequate.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your tenants and properly maintain the building.

Beware
Former Tenant
Pros:
Located steps from the 4 train and Jerome Ave shops, units in the front of the building have southwest facing windows and views of the trees on the parkway, laundry in basement, elevator.
Cons:
Building was recently sold to new managers and overall maintenance has declined sharply from 2021-2022. Maintenance issues are generally ignored, after fighting for weeks to have an issue fixed, the only solution presented to any structural issue is to cover it with white paint.
Advice to owner:
Have a conscience!!!!!! If you wouldn’t want to live with pests, mold, faulty outlets, broken intercoms, leaky pipes, etc, don’t expect your tenants to.
