Beware: Money Pit
Former Tenant
Pros:
Towards the end of the block so it’s a bit quieter
Cons:
The walls are paper thin and poorly insulated.
Rats tend to hide in the walls when winter comes and the chew the inside of the walls.
Roaches are an issue unless you hire Orkin to come religiously.
Bad neighborhood, people tend to congregate at the corner and you’d have to cross a crowd to get home. Water pressure in the summer sucks because of the fire hydrant right out front that’s on in the summer. The 4th of July is an utter war zone here. Apartment wiring isn’t up to par. Gunshots are common and worse in the summer. Parking is pretty much non existent. Most recent owner listed (currently has a 3rd owner not listed) purchased the building and sold less than three years later. They referred to it as their “Money Pit” because it looked fine in pics and a walkthrough but became their worst nightmare.
Advice to owner:
Building needs work!!!
