Numerous violations

Pros:
Affordable and kind neighbors but doesn’t make up for the building conditions
Cons:
Owners have faced accusations of slumlord practices. This building has not even had a lobby door that locks in months. It is wide open at all times even during winter. Many apartments are not in good condition and they will not fix issues like leaks , crumbling walls, etc. Repair request take a long time if ever answered and they’ve gone with cheap, temp solutions over and over again.

Look at the violation history of this building NYC HPD has substantiated violations for rats, water damages among others , and tenants consistently have had to go to court to force repairs. They will not fix these issues and the conditions have forced out long time rent stabilized tenants and frustrated many new ones.
Advice to owner:
Please treat your tenants with respect and prioritize fixing & modernizing the apartments. You’re making a lot of money there is no need to be greedy and run the building like a slumlord

The violations in the building are numerous and the building has had not a lobby door in months which makes the situation safe
