Prepare for the worst
Former Tenant
Pros:
Roommates are somewhat friendly
Cons:
Management doesn't care about you he said it himself, prior to moving in I had ask for them to fix some floor panels and clean up TRASH they left in the room which till this day was never fixed and they lied told me they had fixed it prior to moving in,roaches EVERYWHERE, building is dirty and broken down, cracks and holes everywhere where roaches spew out once the lights turn off. Hard to reach management in times of need and if they respond they will lie to you and not show up at all some of the times. Bathtub clogged and focet runs for both shower head and bottom AT THE SAME TIME filling up the tub in minutes showering in puddles dirty water before you know it. ( Tenant fixed issue out of pocket not management never got refunded or reimbursed instead criticized) MANAGEMENT LIVES ACROSS THE STREET so imagine. SLUMLORDS
Advice to owner:
Stop only caring about collecting checks and start using some of that money to hire people to UPKEEP your buildings. Instead of sitting on the cash or worst spending it on stupid shit maybe you put it back into your buildings your tenants will appreciate you more for it and kick out those who arent paying and disruptive. Your buildings say a lot about your character as a manager and all I've witnessed is slumlord level stuff
