Building is falling apart
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, pet friendly, some nice neighbors
Cons:
Management is useless. Water temperature was impossible to control, showers switched from boiling hot to freezing cold for no reason. About once a week there was no hot water at all. Nothing ever got properly repaired; our fridge broke and they just replaced it with another old, broken fridge, and then replaced THAT fridge with another broken fridge. Our walls and floors were literally held together with duct tape. Exterminator comes once a month, but there were still roaches and, for a while, mice. The block is also INCREDIBLY loud; unfortunately there is nothing to be done about that, which is why we ultimately moved (a month ago-- and we still have not received our security deposit back).
