Don't pay last months rent
Former Tenant
Pros:
Eh, huge landlord conglomerate as of 2010ish. They don't bother much. But also, read "negatives" section.
Cons:
You're never getting your security deposit from them. They'll just hang up on you or give you the runaround. Just something to keep in mind. Scumbags in that regard.
Also they will neglect things that need fixing to the last minute and then try to force you to be home when it suits them with no notice. Just dickheads in general..
Any "Parkoff Management" building will be the same.
Advice to owner:
Not interested in y'all

Not the worst
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator in building, laundry in basement, decent rent price, the people are nice in the building
Cons:
The super is rude and not very responsive, crime has increased in the area, cockroach problem (although you can sign up for free extermination each month), the apartments have not been renovated recently. My apartment has stucco walls which makes it really hard to mount things and clean the walls.
Advice to owner:
Better maintenance service, offer renovations, communicate with tenants better and more clearly.

The neighborhood has changed
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pre war Building spacey apartments. Good sized rooms Two full bathrooms. Well kept grounds
Cons:
Roaches. Neighbors miss use the compactor room as a garbage can. Which allows the roaches to flourish
Advice to owner:
Close compactor room. Make tenants responsible for bringing garbage down to rear of building. Install More outlets in apartments.
