A Water Bed Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The people in the community are genuinely hard-working people. Like on Sesame Street, you can always say good morning or converse with them.
Cons:
This building needs many repairs that the managers are not doing. This is a classic Slum Lord with the assumed business name Bronx Holland LLC. they hold over 30 properties throughout the tri-state area, and they have a management company that handles the rent collection. The property has a storefront on the ground fl., and a sandwich of apartments 3 - 4 stories above sits on top of the storefront. There is often no heat on frigid days. There are constant leaks that they keep patching and continuous ongoing problems. The persistent leaks have created additional problems like mold, structure, and floor damage they neglect.
Advice to owner:
My advice for the property owner, is to do the proper repairs to avoid mitigation to allow justification of rent collected.
