It's alright for what it is
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent stabilized apartments - very large bedrooms and living room (pre-war building) Garbage area is very taken care of. Very close to transportation - 5 minute walk from subway.
Cons:
Heat in the winter is very sporadic. Most of the time it is very cold. Elevators are sometimes dirty, people leave trash around. Next to a school so can get pretty loud after 3 PM. Elevator breaks down constantly.
Advice to owner:
When the property owner first took over, they were quick to renovate the lobby and outdoor area but since then has let it go. They are not as responsive as they once were.
